If I had an award called “Most Photogenic In 100 Degree Heat,” I think Taylor would be the grand prize winner! Her OUTDOOR senior photo session happened during some of the warmest weather on record here in Lincoln. We’d had weeks of 100-110 degree days. We talked about rescheduling, but since her family was coming in from out of town and had already booked their hotel room, we decided to go for it! I went to the Farmer’s Almanac and looked it up. Okay, please indulge my nerdiness a bit longer. It was 96 degrees that day with a dew point of 75. That means (drumroll please) the heat index was 110.
The reason I have to tell you all of this is because, looking at Taylor’s beautiful smiling face and fantabulous hair, you’d never have guessed the oppressive conditions we were shooting in! She was a dream to work with, and it was fun having her mom and sister along for the evening too. Taylor had booked an extended shoot, which meant there was plenty of sweating time to photograph both downtown and Pioneers Park. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, Taylor! You are a beautiful person inside and out!
